So basically, I got this text today of a friend of mine. He made me aware of this cream and black splatter vinyl of the new deafhaven album. It’s safe to say I want it!!!!

So I got this text off my brother yesterday for my birthday. I was the best birthday text ever! No lies!

My mother bought me the new Defeater vinyl for my 21st birthday and a little bit of money, with that money I bought Have Heart - The Things We Carry on purple and Loma Prieta - IV on black!!! I’m happy!!!

So it was my 21st birthday today. I woke up at 6:30am, washed and ate breakfast. I then headed to work! At 5:40pm I got home, ate dinner and went out to play 5 a side. I came home and it was 9:40pm. I showered, got in bed and I watched Eastenders. 10:32pm and I’m flicking through the channels to see what’s on! I live the high life, seriously the best 21st birthday ever! No different to any other day, just how I like it!

I hate the attention you get on your birthday from people you never talk to, who wish you happy birthday and ask you how you are, say things like ‘I’ll buy you a drink sometime’ and ‘how are you keeping’ you don’t care any other time so why bother now. I hate the pressure of not coming across as ungrateful when you open presents, when you don’t jump up and down screaming with joy :/.
